Just kidding! I’m finishing up my packing right now. Flight leaves tomorrow morning at 8am. And look who wants to come on my trip with me!!!
Getting my carry-on packed is totally stressing me out. Like I said in my previous post, I plan on making a ton of bracelets on my flights to and from Vacationtown. So packing all of my embroidery floss and beads has taken a lot of research and thought. So finally, here it is. The itsmemary travel pack – tsa approved!!! Hopefully.
I’m using dental floss for “scissors” because i cant bring scissors on the plane. That was a suggestion I found on the world wide web! I’m worried about my crochet hook because its metal and small and could easily be jabbed into the body of some stranger on the plane. Hopefully the fine airport security people will see that the crochet hook is surrounded by string and beads, and realize that someone carrying string and beads on a plane is certainly not planning on gouging someone in the neck with their crochet hook. That being said, if they do decide to make me part with my beloved hook, I have a document that I found on tsa.gov which I will flash before their eyes and scream, “HA!”. Ok..maybe not. We’ll see how it goes!
My amazing photographer friend, Britney Berkstresser, has started her very own Etsy shop featuring some amazing bead panel bracelets!!! Here is a quote from Little Awi (or little deer)’s shop profile, “All materials and supplies are made with the environment in mind. Using plant based glues, left over scraps from fabric and leather stores and discontinued bead colors. Just to make sure nothing more goes into our land fills.” I especially love the one pictured with an <3itsmemary bracelet next to it!! Wear them separate or wear them together!!
ITSMEMARY IS GOING ON VACATION!!! That’s right…for 3 whole weeks. 1 night in Amsterdam, 1 week in Sweden, and the remainder of the time will be spent traveling to, and around, FRANCE!! This is going to be the trip of a lifetime. I am hoping to take millions of pictures and also make millions of bracelets to post in my etsy shop when I return home. Take a look at my Etsy Shop Announcement for the dates I will be gone and how that will affect your itsmemary order! Here is a little preview:
This is what happens when you let itsmemary (and her style consultant) pick your bracelet colors!! Hope you love it, MBCahill!!
