Come by Crafted this weekend for Sip n Shop, Live Music, BBQ from the Fox Pizza Bus (see menu here), and as always, handmade goodness from the Crafted vendors! Get more info on about the Labor Day festivities on the Crafted Blog and RSVP on the Facebook Event Page! Can’t wait to see you there!
We were homeless for the first 7 hours in Amsterdam.
Just kidding! I’m finishing up my packing right now. Flight leaves tomorrow morning at 8am. And look who wants to come on my trip with me!!!
Getting my carry-on packed is totally stressing me out. Like I said in my previous post, I plan on making a ton of bracelets on my flights to and from Vacationtown. So packing all of my embroidery floss and beads has taken a lot of research and thought. So finally, here it is. The itsmemary travel pack – tsa approved!!! Hopefully.
I’m using dental floss for “scissors” because i cant bring scissors on the plane. That was a suggestion I found on the world wide web! I’m worried about my crochet hook because its metal and small and could easily be jabbed into the body of some stranger on the plane. Hopefully the fine airport security people will see that the crochet hook is surrounded by string and beads, and realize that someone carrying string and beads on a plane is certainly not planning on gouging someone in the neck with their crochet hook. That being said, if they do decide to make me part with my beloved hook, I have a document that I found on tsa.gov which I will flash before their eyes and scream, “HA!”. Ok..maybe not. We’ll see how it goes!
